Eligibility Criteria

Who can enroll?

To be eligible for the BCMAS program you must meet ONE of the following criteria:

  • Hold an MD/MBBS/DO, PharmD/BPharm, DNP, or PhD from an accredited institution*
  • OR
  • Have >2 years relevant industry experience (includes pharmaceutical, diagnostics, medical devices and/or medical education agency experience).

*Note: Each applicant will be considered based on their professional, clinical, and educational background.

About the Board Exam

Maintenence of Certifcation

The BCMAS Program must be renewed every 5 years. Renewal can be done either:
  1. Retaking the board exam and passing OR
  2. Completing 20 hours of continuing education approved by the ACMA.
